The purpose of foot care is to:
- To provide access to low-cost foot care services for county residents.
- To prevent foot problems for residents unable to care for their own feet.
- To promote the importance of personal foot hygiene through education.
- To assess and refer clients with foot/toenail problems to primary medical providers and/or podiatrists
