Notice is hereby given that a hearing has been set for May 26, 2023 at 9:03 a.m. in the meeting room at Polk County Environmental Services, 320 Ingersoll Ave, Crookston, Minnesota, to consider the application of CHS Inc., 315 Broadway Ave, St. Hilaire, MN 56754 for a Conditional Use Permit to construct grain elevator and bin complex at a height of 204’ in the agricultural district on a parcel located at: 33388 190th Ave SE, Erskine, MN 56535 and described as:    A tract of land in the Southwest Quarter Section 29 and in the West Half of Section 32, Township 149 North, Range 42 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Polk County, Minnesota, described as follows:  Beginning at the northwest corner of Northwest Quarter of said Section 32; thence South 00 degrees 08 minutes 12 seconds West, assumed bearing, along the west line of said Northwest Quarter of said Section 32, a distance of 2646.22 feet to the southwest corner of said Northwest Quarter; thence South 00 degrees 16 minutes 53 seconds East, along the west line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 32, a distance of 450.49 feet; thence South 89 degrees 32 minutes 00 seconds East, parallel to the north line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 32, a distance of 651.05 feet; thence North 02 degrees 39 minutes 39 seconds East 450.79 feet; thence South 89 degrees 32 minutes 00 seconds East, along the north line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 32, a distance of 1928.59 feet; thence North 00 degrees 58 minutes 12 seconds East 2166.79 feet to the southerly right of way of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway; thence North 73 degrees 31 minutes 37 seconds West, along said south right of way, a distance of 2749.02 feet to the west line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 29; thence South 00 degrees 38 minutes 29 seconds East, along the said west line, a distance of 278.60 feet to the point of beginning, parcels #03.00181.00, #03.00163.00 and #03.00179.01.   All property owners within ¼ mile of the proposed Conditional Use Permit are invited to appear at said hearing.
